Job Description
ProAmpac, Auburn, WA is seeking a professional maintenance manager for a large plastics manufacturing plant. This operation is 24/7 and consists of large machines for Extrusion of blown film and presses for flexographic printing of plastic packaging.

Using the core foundations of ProAmpac – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, Involvement, and Impact – the Maintenance Manager will by performing the duties listed below.
Mentor, coach, assign and oversee the work of the team (approx. 25) to meet safety, operational, and quality needs.
Input in establishing goals and metrics in alignment of organizational strategy and effectively communicates to team
Administers established policies and procedures
Collaborate effectively with other organizational areas including but not limited to, Vendors, Production, Machine Centers, Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Electrical and Product Development departments
Ability to determine needs and effectively report on issues
Managing staffing levels to meet demand
Implementation of PM instruction, scheduling, and performance
Continuous operation of all production and facility equipment
Oversee repair parts ordering, inventory, and competitive sourcing
Proper and safe maintenance work performance
Maintenance training and team development
Equipment and project installations
All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
The Maintenance Manager will meet the goals and objectives of the organization by overseeing the daily operation of the maintenance area. This Maintenance leadership position also ensures safety, quality, and production metrics are met in alignment with organizational strategy.
Well qualified maintenance manager candidates will have:
Accreditation from a Technical School or applicable skilled trades program and 3 or more years ofrelated machine/manufacturing/production maintenance management experience, with comprehensive knowledge of the tools, principles, and conceptsRequires knowledge of operation and repair and supervision of manufacturing machinery, tool and die, electrical, plumbing, welding, basic machine work, engines, motor, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, boilers, production machines, and knowledge of blueprints.
Leadership experience with the ability to also work as a team
Ability to perform moderately complex problem analysis & Mechanical aptitude
Solid working knowledge of production processes and related manufacturing
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information. Exceptional time management and organization skills.
