We are currently looking for an artist to join our Graphic Department at our Auburn, WA facility.

Job Description:

Prepare designed files for prepress print production for the flexographic printing industry. Must have a good understanding of process printed color theory and color management a huge plus. Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. We are looking for that team member that is dedicated to making a project the best it can be and works hard to make the team successful.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Formulate, measure and match colors for designated printing presses based on production schedule.

  • Use spectro and customer-supplied color standards. Add or reduce bases and solvents to meet customer specifications.

  • Experience in flexographic printing a plus.

  • Basic to proficient understanding in Pre-press and Print production techniques and processes such as:

  • Color Correcting

  • Trapping for flexographic reproduction

  • Stepping

  • Raster Image Processing (RIP)

  • Expert level of Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud including Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.

  • Basic to proficient Computer Software Skills

  • Apple Mac equipment and operating systems

  • Overall Business (e.g. MS-Office Suite)

  • Experience with Esko Automation Engine, DeskPak, ArtPro+, and/or ArtPro preferred
