Hours:

  • Frist Shift

  • 10 hour shifts | 5am – 3pm | Mon-Thurs with OT on Fri

Hourly Wage:

  • $18/hour (based on experience)

Major Job Function:

This position is responsible for setting up and operating laminating machine to meet or exceed customer quality expectations. They are also responsible for helping in the Converting departments. The operator is one that works independently and as part of a team, effectively communicates, gets along with others, has a positive attitude, and is well organized. 10-hour shifts are standard but are subject to change based on company need.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Knows that they and their fellow employees must follow all safety policies and procedures.

  • Set up and operate Coater/Converting machines according to spec sheet.

  • Consistently run high quality products efficiently.

  • Anticipate potential problems through observation and attention to detail.

  • Assist others in resolving issues (people, system, maintenance)

  • Ensure safe and proper assembly of machine. Perform minor maintenance.

  • Perform Quality tests and enter data on form.

  • Train employees when needed.

  • Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment.

  • Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all dealings with coworkers, customers, and suppliers.

  • Consistently at work and on time.

  • Recognize and report quality issues to personnel with the authority to initiate actions.

  • All other duties as assigned.

  • Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting material some of which may be heavy and awkward.

  • Warehouse environment can expose Team members to temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise (ear plugs will be provided), dust

  • Demonstrated experience assisting in lamination of flexible materials ideal. Willing to train the right individual.

  • Ability to lift/move up to 50lbs.

  • Ability to work with and around hazardous chemicals.

  • Ability to work with all levels of employees.

  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
