The 3rd Shift Production Supervisor completely oversees all company assets and provides guidance to manufacturing operations on their shift. Directs production resulting in on-time completion of product according to established quality standards. Directly supervises up to 45 employees with the support of floor leads.
Maintain a safe environment with respect to equipment, facility, and process through education in safety and constant vigilance regarding safe practices and procedures in all production areas.
Perform shift supervision duties including scheduling work, allocating resources, resolving problems, and providing direction.
Complete necessary paperwork weekly to measure productivity and efficiency by analyzing and compiling information, measuring products, summarizing details.
Build and promote a team environment among supervisors, management and staff with open and transparent communication
High School Diploma and trade-based education, certification or apprenticeship program to apply technical theories to production processes and plans.
Experience in printing, flexography, and converting operations to successfully manage the diverse activities occurring on an alternate production shift is preferred
Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience to effectively utilize staff and resolve personnel problems, and successfully train personnel on production equipment as required.
Proven Leadership and team building experience
Excellent communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills to prioritize and manage a variety of simultaneous issues, and to communicate effectively with production personnel, customers, and vendors.
Basic computer skills are required to perform the support activities associated with the General Responsibilities of the position.
