This position is responsible for coordinating accounts payable functions with Accounting Clerk I, maintaining account receivables and purchasing adhesives/films for ProAmpac. This job reports directly to the Plant Controller. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily.   • Process, enter and reconcile specific accounts as part of the 1-day month end close process

  • Purchase Adhesives as required from demand reports.

  • Adjust ink and adhesive inventories due to over usage in the month the over usage occurs.

  • Coordinate shipping dates/requirements with vendors f0r inks and adhesives.

  • Work with QA & Production to have all disposals processed in the month they occur in before months end.

  • Process receivers each morning from prior day’s activity

  • Enter and process all coded vouchers received

  • Assist in physical inventory count of inks and adhesives.

  • Coordinate and procure all demand for office supplies and plastic cores.


  • Comply with all ProAmpac Safety, Quality, Operational and Employment policies and practices.

  • Adhere to all Quality principles as outlined in our Quality System to ensure efficient production of a quality product on a day to day basis.

  • Halt manufacturing processes and immediately notifying management of any safety, material, equipment or technical non conformance.

  • Participate with co-workers and supervisors in addressing problem areas, planning methods and operating procedures.

  • Identify and record quality related problems, initiate action to prevent nonconformance, and recommend solutions.

  • Day-to-day compliance with quality, food safety and prerequisite programs

  • Report food safety concerns

  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands/fingers to type, hold, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

  • This role operates in a general office environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is rarely exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area during extremely hot summer months.


  • Accounting Experience of at least 2 years

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs, and develop solutions and/or options.

  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

  • HS Diploma or equivalency
