SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
This position is responsible for maintaining and providing maintenance to all machinery to ensure the safe, efficient operation of all equipment. The maintenance technician operates under the direct supervision of the maintenance manager.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Maintain all production equipment to ensure their operation is safe and in proper operating condition. This includes both mechanical and minor electrical repairs.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as necessary.
Perform preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment
Participate with peers and supervisors in addressing problem areas, implementation of corrective and preventive actions, planning methods, and operating procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Comply with all ProAmpac Safety, Quality, Operational and Employment policies and practices.
Remove from operation any machine deemed unsafe and immediately notify management.
Maintain all facility safety devices and insure they are in proper working condition.
Operate in a manner that will reduce waste and optimize usable production.
Halt manufacturing processes and immediately notifying management of any safety, material, equipment or technical non-conformance.

Requirements
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work history
Ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization
Electrical and mechanically inclined
Production machine maintenance experience
Able to work 2nd shift 2pm - 10pm
