Job Responsibilities

The Material Handler functions under the direct supervision of the Warehouse Lead. They are responsible for loading, unloading, and moving materials within the plant, preparing make-ready pallets for printing, slitting, pouch-making, and spouting operations by performing the following duties:

• Operating forklift, electric hoist or pallet mover to assist in loading or moving materials and products

• Loading and unloading materials from storage onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves either by hand or utilizing lifting equipment, as well as moving materials to designated work area

• Generating pick list and following oral instructions to collect materials

• Counting, weighting and recording materials moved and handles on pick list

• Auditing for accurate inventory

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• At least 2 years of forklift operating experience, strongly preferred

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
