This position is responsible for the packing and testing of the pouches to meet production schedules, and maintain compliance to company and customer quality standards, and policies in the Pouching Department.

The Pouch Helper must work closely with the machine operator, manufacturing supervisor, and Quality Assurance to assure that all production objectives are efficiency achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist operator as needed to ensure that the pouching machinery is working properly and safely.

  • Monitor the quality of the material being processed to ensure compliance to company and customer quality specifications. Seek assistance on any product quality issue during run.

  • Perform variety of quality checks on product as outlined in job specifications.

  • Prepare new cartons as needed for job run.

  • Label all cartons with correct labeling.

  • Pack products neatly in the cartons and stack them neatly on the skids.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Available to work 1st shift (6am - 2:30pm)

  • Good verbal & written communication skills.

  • Ability to read a tape measure in millimeters.

  • Ability to lift an average of 50 lbs
