Role Overview

ProAmpac is looking to add a paid Communications Intern to the team! The role is expected to work full-time (40 hours/week) upon completion of the semester and run for the 2021 summer. They will primarily be responsible for providing marketing and communications support at the corporate level. They will be required to work independently on their own projects, as well as collaborate within the team.

  • Aid in the execution of corporate communication strategies by assisting functional teams with their needs

  • Manage the creation of branded training content utilized by leadership, sales department, and global presentations

  • Coordinate Corporate Sample Program by assessing inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and sourcing samples from Product Development team

  • Publish content to internal portal to share with employees; this includes, but is not limited to, corporate news, announcements, HR information

  • Develop understanding of tradeshows by assisting with duties related to logistic planning


  • Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in Communications, Marketing, Graphic Design, or a related degree

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook

  • Experience with Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator preferred

  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and stakeholders

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, with occasional challenging deadlines

  • Self-confident, self-motivated professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
