Job Description

ProAmpac is currently seeking a Human Resource Manager for the Cincinnati, OH Facility. The Human Resources Manager will be responsible to maintain, support and enhance the location's talent, culture, and functional excellence, while building a strong partnership with the business leaders. They will have responsibility to oversee the execution of HR processes, policies, and programs personally or through a team.

Some of the job responsibilities include:

  • Provide HR leadership and day to day support for designated location

  • Responsible for talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention of ProAmpac employees while following all federal, local and company requirements

  • Support ProAmpac culture and core values, drive engagement and overall positive employee experience through strong change management and communication

  • Evaluate current and future workforce needs using data analytics

  • Identify training and development opportunities and support the implementation of improvement plans through coaching and feedback

  • Oversee the execution of the performance management process

  • Provide input to and support ProAmpac total rewards, compensation, and benefit programs

  • Administer risk management of occupational and non-occupational injured worker process, workers' compensation and ADAAA compliance

  • Actively support and maintain health and safety program

  • Ensure HR systems maintain integrity and data accuracy

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development or other related discipline

  • SHRM Certification or PHR preferred

Qualification & Skills:

  • Five or more years of providing effective, proactive, and responsive onsite management for a wide variety of HR activities such as employee relations, benefits and compensation administration, performance management and risk management

  • Proficiency and demonstrated expertise in leave law management and administration at all levels of complexity, strong knowledge of state and federal level laws and employment law

  • Ability to identify talent and match it to the needs and culture of the organization

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and outreach

  • Adapt with technology and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, ADP or other HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems and social networking tools

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of sensitive information.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; presentation and project management skills
