In partnership with the Site Human Resources and Leadership Team, the Human Resources Generalist will be responsible to maintain, support and enhance the organization's talent, culture, and functional excellence, while building a strong partnership with the business leaders. They will have responsibility to execute HR processes, policies, and programs.

  • Develop, maintain, manage and update the Talent Acquisition process, pipeline to meet the talent needs of the organization, including but not limited to outreach to potential active and passive candidates via Technical Schools, job fairs, college, high school, state/federal agencies, on-line, social networking or in person.

  • Meet all talent needs and objectives. Including planning and preparing for organizational changes, partner with site leadership regularly to understand talent gaps and make necessary adjustments to plan.

  • Manage local staffing agency contracts and service level expectations.

  • Assist Onboarding, and Retention activities while following all Federal, Local and Company requirements.

  • Lead new hire orientation and onboarding presentations with new talent.

  • Encouraging candidate interest by promoting the organization as an employer of choice.

  • Provide support for Total Rewards, Compensation and Benefit Programs.

  • Support One ProAmpac culture and core values, drive engagement and overall positive employee experience through strong change management and communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development from a four-year college; or three plus years related experience and / or training in a large manufacturing organization ; or equivalent combination of the two.

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.

  • Experience with ADP payroll & recruiting systems a plus.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

  • Proactive and strong sense of urgency; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs, and develop solutions and/or options.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Self-confident, self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
