This position is responsible for meeting goals and objectives of ProAmpac by growing existing customers, identifying new opportunities and meeting monthly sales quotas while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role must assist customers by answering questions and related problems, as well as develop strong relationships and find new opportunities remotely over the phone.
Responds to customer inquiries regarding product offerings and develops relationship to create new business opportunities
Pro-actively contacts potential clients to identify strategic partnerships. Ensures they manage, and continue, existing relationships to maintain business
Prepares monthly and annual budgets and forecasts for customers and enters data into internal company software
Manages all inquiries from clients, current and future, in a timely manner and is comfortable negotiating on prices, services and terms
Appropriately handles customer complaints and is able to direct them to Customer Service and Quality
Demonstrates appropriate attitude in all interactions with clients, co-workers and suppliers
Updates and keeps account information current for customers
May assist with trade shows and market specific marketing activity, company promotional events, and outside company sales gatherings
College degree required, plus a minimum of 5 years of phone based Inside Sales experience or 3 years of Outside Sales experience preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Solid working knowledge of sales processes and related manufacturing
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams and Outlook
Ability to communicate effectively with leadership, staff, and internal and external clients
Strong time management and organization skills; able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Self-motivated and proactive professional that thrives in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable being on the phone with clients, both current and future
