Job Description
Position Summary
The Desktop Analyst is responsible for the design and implementation of standardized, scalable, and sustainable technology related to end user device functionality as guided by ProAmpac IT Leadership, using industry best practices for overall IT governance.
This position will lead the effort to create and maintain guidelines and processes related to the analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex problems related to end user devices across the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, the build and support of associated technologies relating to the operating system, application deployment, and lifecycle management for end user hardware and software.

Perform tasks related to the recommendation, design, and overall administration of the following technologies:
ManageEngine Desktop Central – Enterprise Desktop Management System
JAMF – Apple Mac Desktop Management System
Microsoft Endpoint Management (Intune) / SOTI MDM System
Responsible for problem resolution (Tier 2/3 support) associated with Microsoft Windows, Apple MacOS, and Android/iOS platforms.
Responsible for workstation lifecycle management, patching and application
Be familiar with and able to troubleshoot mobile devices and related wireless
Be familiar with and able to support applications including Outlook, Office 365, Azure, and custom‐built Enterprise applications.
Assists in system design to help ensure alignment with ProAmpac’s strategic and operational
Recommend, implement, and document corrective solutions and preventative
Document work in the form of policies, standards, technical documents, and knowledge base
Ensure solutions are delivered in adherence with defined standards and
Investigate and recommend new technologies and products to improve functionality and reliability of the
Work with vendors and other IT staff for project development and problem
Work both independently and with various teams across the ProAmpac
Perform daily prioritization of work to ensure assigned project and incident SLA requirements are met
Requirements
3+ years of experience with ManageEngine Desktop Central and/or similar desktop
Experience with rapid paced Mergers and Acquisitions as part of an Enterprise class
Advanced experience with automated application deployment and
Strong knowledge with Powershell
Strong competency of Microsoft Windows and Apple MacOS desktop operating
Basic skill regarding Windows Active Directory and Group Policy
Functional understanding of network protocols and SSL
Understanding of patch management and desktop lifecycle management methodologies and best
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast paced, high‐pressure
Ability to author technical and procedural
Experience deploying other applications in a manufacturing setting is
Organizational problem solving, consensus building and conflict resolution
VmWare View / Azure Windows Virtual Desktop experience is a plus, but not required
Autopliot experience a plus
Technical Certifications a plus, not required
