We currently have an open Converting (Paper) Bag Machine Operator 2nd Shift: 4 pm to Midnight; Monday - Saturday position available at our Cincinnati, Ohio facility. In this role, you will operate converting bag machine in a safe manner and produce quality product with minimal scrap, meet production schedules and keep work area clean. The starting pay potential for this position can be up to $25.00/hour based on prior, similar experience plus an additional $1.25/hour for shift differential.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:
Run Equipment : you will run a converting (paper) bag machine. You will perform any light maintenance that is needed on assigned machine and communicate any major issues to supervisor/lead.
Follow Instructions: you will read, understand and follow all work instructions to produce product that meet standards (production, scrap and quality).
Ensure Compliance: you will ensure departmental compliance with all certification requirements and will maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with AIB/ISO standards. You will maintain quality of products being produced at or above the required specifications.
Successful candidates will bring with them the following requirements and skills:
High School diploma or equivalent (GED)
Minimum 1-year manufacturing experience is highly preferred
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong math and measurement skills
Ability to work well in a team and as an independent contributor
