Job Description
ProAmpac is searching for a Talent Development Specialist to join our Talent Management Team. This role is perfect for an innovative HR professional who has experience developing, tracking, and managing talent development initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Talent Management.
Design, implement and own talent development programs to improve the engagement and performance of employees, such as learning & development, performance management, talent reviews and engagement.
Oversee content development and organization of the Learning Management System.
Develop and manage project plans to successfully execute programs.
Conduct needs assessments, focus groups and employee interviews, along with analyzing organizational data, to identify areas of focus
Take an analytical, yet strategic approach to assessing and reporting on talent needs
Research learning industry trends, methodologies, and best practices to integrate those into professional application.
Leverage market research for learning innovations, new technologies, and benchmarks to create and deploy leading practice learning experiences
Evaluate curriculums and programs and determine ways to increase the effectiveness of all established and developmental training efforts.

Requirements
The successful candidate will meet the following requirements
Bachelor's degree in HR, Organization Development, Psychology, Education, or a related field
5 years’ work experience in HR, talent development, talent management, or related field
HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR)
Experience working within the manufacturing, construction, energy, or related industry required.
Experience with learning management platforms and visual development tools
Significant end-to-end project/program management experience in successfully conceptualizing, planning, managing, delivering, and monitoring multiple, concurrent, and complex work streams in a matrixed organization with aggressive timelines
The ability to present to large groups, facilitate and/or co-facilitate existing and future professional development training sessions
Strong organizational skills, creative thinking skills, and curriculum planning ability
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex environment
Established track record for taking a consultative approach to designing and delivering innovative learning programs with measurable business results that meet stakeholder needs
Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders
Strong command of MS Office skills and ability to produce deliverables that carry a "stamp of excellence."
Ability to travel 20-30%, on average to project and district locations.
