This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Requirements

This position is responsible to meet the goals and objectives of the organization by effectively researching, and obtaining goods and services at the lowest cost, highest quality, from reliable sources.

Essential Duties and Tasks

  • Research products and services, follow trends.

  • Obtains goods and services that meet or exceed specifications by placing, scheduling, and tracking orders.

  • Interview's vendors recommend sources of supply.

  • Analyze quotes.

  • Track and communicate inventory levels

  • Develop, run, and maintain records necessary for production, sales, procurement, etc...

  • Collaborate with production, sales, quality, leadership, and others

  • May back-up other functions in the planning or other areas

  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or 2 - 4 years of experience

  • Solid working knowledge of procurement processes (raw materials and MRO), and related manufacturing

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams, and Outlook.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.

  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.

  • Self-confident, self-motivated, polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
