The IT Analyst is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure for their onsite location. This includes ensuring that system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values. In addition, they provide assistance with internal Service Desk requests from ProAmpac employees. These requests are IT related problems that can be resolved remotely.
Provides Server/Network support services; including hardware/software installation, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
Manages and monitors all installed computer systems, server, storage, network and telephony infrastructure on premise and cloud based
Proactively maintains infrastructure to ensure security and availability for end users
Administers servers, software deployment, updates and patches
Manages Active Directory: create users, groups, update user access, disable (or occasionally delete) user accounts
Provides 2nd and 3rd level end user technical support
Works with vendors and other IT staff for project development and problem resolution
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technologies, or equivalent combination of experience, relevant IT certifications and credentials
Experience supporting IT Service Desk requests, preferred
Experience within manufacturing sites, preferred
Comfortability using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams, SharePoint and Outlook
Enterprise Office 365 in a hybrid federated deployment (Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Skype for Business, PBX, PSTN Conferencing)
Experience with application packaging and Windows update deployments
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-confident and self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it
Ability to work with or without direct supervision
Friendly presence and helpful attitude
