Are you looking for your next opportunity in managing product portfolios? If so, look no further! ProAmpac is actively recruiting for a Product Specialist to join the Marketing Team. This position will be responsible for pouch and bag product portfolios, which includes setting strategies, completing analyses, reviewing forecasts and research, planning product development, and communicating performance requirements.

  • Define and implement actions that grow the product portfolio revenue at margins at or above target levels

  • Develop and execute product strategy including product rationalization, new product introductions, and asset acquisitions/divestitures/relocations

  • Provide analyses, reports, presentations across products to inform the business decision making

  • Share timely reports, forecasts, and analysis for short and long-term product sales

  • Lead projects regarding margin improvement, sales outreach, capital expenditures and strategy development

  • Conduct sales and margin analysis through Monthly Operating Report and provide recommendations for improvement

  • Collaborate with Sales and Product Development to justify new product resourcing, delivery of new products, and design/develop commercial sales tools

  • Collaborate with Marketing Team to launch and/or refresh products by developing plans with sales and operations

  • Provide regular training on product portfolio assets, capabilities and technology to team and customers


  • Bachelor’s degree in a Technical or Business discipline

  • 3 – 5 years of relevant experience, with product, manufacturing and/or market knowledge strongly desired

  • Strong communication (verbal, written, presentation) skills to effectively collaborate with leadership, staff, and clients

  • Comfortability using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Visio, Teams and Outlook

  • Strong analytical mindset and experience with Power BI preferred

  • Self-confident, motivated professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment

  • Ability to travel upwards of 35% within the United States
