Brief description of the role below:

ProAmpac is seeking a Maintenance Technician who is detail-oriented, a self-starter, a critical-thinker and possesses good written and verbal communication skills. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining and providing maintenance to all equipment, machinery, etc., to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment, both mechanical and minor electrical repairs. Including but not limited to participating in “on-call” rotation schedule of all maintenance personnel to ensure 24-hour coverage of maintenance needs in the event of an emergency. In addition to maintaining all facility safety devices and ensuring they are in proper working condition, amongst other duties.

Qualifications, Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent, technical training is a plus

  • 3+ years’ machinery, equipment maintenance is a MUST

  • Experience within a manufacturing environment

  • Solid working knowledge of general carpentry, plumbing, HVAC is a plus

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision-making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
