Job Description

ProAmpac is currently seeking Production Associates for the Mobile, AL facility. Safety is our top priority and ProAmpac's culture is one of people first! If you like being a part of a team and want to help produce items essential to everyday life, this is the position for you!

This position will be responsible for safely producing quality bags, with low scrap, on schedule, in an organized work area.

1. Assists in setting up, operating and maintaining production equipment per Standard Work and training

2. Produces product to rate, scrap and quality standards

3. Ensures production materials are replenished

4. Completes required paperwork and labels, accurately and consistently

5. Relieves Operator and Packer when on Breaks

6. Labels & sets up Cartons; inspects & loads finished Handle Bags into Cartons

7. Documents Day By Hour, Shift Sheet, Pallet Ticket

8. Performs Drop Tests including Documentation

9. Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Experience

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

• Ability to work second or third shifts

• Stable work history( 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred)

• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot problems

• Must be able to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check

Work Environment

Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required.
