Job Description
The Quality Manager is responsible for leading systems, processes and procedures that meet or exceed the quality/food safety systems (SQF) and ISO standards. Maintain a system of Continuous Improvement throughout the manufacturing process.
Promote and support a safe and engaging culture
Provide leadership to troubleshoot bag and print processes and quality related issues
Work with Adjusters and Operators to produce quality products
Conduct root cause analysis to minimize defects and create built-in quality
Conduct Quality Training and Team Meetings to improve plant-wide first run quality
Lead annual ISO and SQF audits
Maintain proper documentation relating to ISO and SQF certifications
Address Quality complaints from various sources (Customer, Customer Service, Internal)
Requirements
AS / BS degree – preferred
1 yr, Quality Assurance – preferred
Proficient in Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook
Communications; written and verbal
Self-Directed and Organized
