ProAmpac is a leading global flexible packaging company with comprehensive product offerings. We are seeking an industrial controls technician to join our talented maintenance staff. In this role, you would primarily be responsible for responding to trouble calls on industrial equipment, such as, extruders, rewinders, and printing presses, as well as support equipment like chillers, air compressors, stretch wrappers, etc.

Requirements

  • Journeyman Electrician or associate degree in electro-mechanical technology/related field.

  • Some experience troubleshooting/repairing industrial equipment.

  • Some experience with PLCs, drives, and other control systems.

  • Understand and apply knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

  • Some experience with motors, transformers, wiring, relays, machine controls, switches, controllers, transmitters, calibrations, sensors, etc.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Ability to work well with engineers, mechanics, machine operators, electricians, and management.

  • Positive attitude.

  • Able to work a 12-hour rotating shift with eventual move to day shift.
