Essential Duties and Tasks:
Understand and apply knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics.
Read technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
Document technical information through descriptive writing, sketches/diagrams, mathematical expression, computation, and graphs.
Perform electrical diagnostics and measurements, perform electrical assembly/disassembly, repair, or calibrate components by properly selecting tools, testing equipment, and following procedures.
Understand the overall operation and control of machines.
Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing.
Demonstrate persistence when dealing with complex problems.
Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
Safely operate cranes, hoists, power and hand tools.
Apply critical thinking skills to solving problems.
Able to maintain good attitude.
Assist with LOTO written program and training.
Assist with building and grounds maintenance when needed.
Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) SQF and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
Follow quality requirements to meet or exceed specifications.
Effectively communicate with employees plant wide to ensure a team environment.

Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Advanced skills (Journeyman level) preferred.
Experience with PLC’s and drives trouble shooting as well as hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical skills.
Completed an Electromechanical Apprenticeship Program in a manufacturing environment.
7-years’ experience preferred and/or training in a manufacturing facility; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
