ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. Maintenance Mechanic in Norfolk, New York

Description

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Journeyman Class A Certified- preferred

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial setting

  • Able to work M-F, 7:00 am-3:30 pm, overtime as required. This position does require being on-call one weekend a month

  • Ability to perform tasks efficiently with precision and quality

  • Ability to follow all environmental and safety regulations and policies

  • Ability to work in a hot environment

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and project-based maintenance, including but not limited to, bearing changes, pump replacement and rebuild, pipefitting, welding, fabrication, rigging, carpentry, industrial vehicle maintenance, and masonry.

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, repair, and record findings

  • Assist in routine maintenance operations

Physical Demands:

  • Stand/Walk-7hours

  • Drive/Sit-1 hour

  • Push/Pull- 20-50lbs, frequently

  • Lift/Carry- 20-50lbs, frequently

  • Simple grasping of both hands- frequently

  • Climb stairs/ladders- frequently

  • Reach above shoulders, frequently

  • Hourly Wage Scale: $28.84-$32.96
