Job Summary

Performs routine and preventive maintenance throughout the paper mill such as:

• Regularly inspects pumps, motors, cranes, compressors and systems

• Machine lubrication

• General labor and housekeeping

• Other related tasks as assigned by Maintenance Lead

Willingness and ability to learn, assist and perform:

• Bearing replacement, seal replacement and cleaning of parts during overhauls and maintenance shutdowns.

• Install, maintain, upgrade, move, troubleshoot and fabricate parts for machinery and equipment.

• Pipefitting, carpentry, welding and truck repair.

Requirements

Job Requirements:

• Mechanically inclined

• Availability to be on-call weekends, nights, holidays and overtime as required.

• Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry 20-50 pounds frequently. Climb stairs and ladders frequently. Reach above shoulders frequently. Stand/walk 8 hours.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an industrial setting preferred
