Position Summary:

The die cutter operator is responsible for the safe set up and operation of the die cutting equipment within the department. Ensuring conformance to Safety Policies, Rules and Regulations and general housekeeping standards. Meets or exceeds production, quality, and efficiency requirements at all times.

Basic Duties and Tasks but not limited to:

 Set up and operate designated die cutting machine

 Use the proper personal protective equipment required to perform the job duties.

 Operate the Die Cutting Machines as a member of the production team.

 Work as a team with fellow team members to achieve the departmental goals in safety, quality, and efficient operation of the equipment.

 Maintain accurate production reporting

 Perform Pre-Start Inspections of the machine and material to ensure that safe operation will begin.

 Perform periodic visual quality checks of the material throughout the run and adjust the Die

 Ensure zero defects are sent to the customer.

 Perform daily and periodic cleaning of the machine and department to maintain 5S and GMP/SQF standards throughout the manufacturing area.

Requirements

• Good Communication, organization, time management, and measurement skills

• Dependable and reliable

• Basic math, reading, and writing skills.

• Ability to lift 40 lbs.

• Understand Quality Criteria

• Ability to distinguish colors

• Attention to detail

• Ability to work with computers and software such as Microsoft excel, as well as data processing skill

• Available to work 3rd Shift / 11p - 7a
