ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. Human Resource Generalist in Portland, Oregon
ProAmpac is currently seeking a Human Resource Generalist for the Portland, OR Facility. The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible to maintain, support and enhance the location's talent, culture and functional excellence, while building a strong partnership with the business leaders. They will have responsibility to oversee the execution of HR processes, policies and programs personally or through a team.
Some of the job responsibilities include:
Provide HR leadership and day to day support for designated location
Responsible for talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention of ProAmpac employees while following all federal, local and company requirements
Support ProAmpac culture and core values, drive engagement and overall positive employee experience through strong change management and communication
Evaluate current and future workforce needs using data analytics
Identify training and development opportunities and support the implementation of improvement plans through coaching and feedback
Oversee the execution of the performance management process
Provide input to and support ProAmpac total rewards, compensation, and benefit programs
Administer risk management of occupational and non-occupational injured worker process, workers' compensation and ADAAA compliance
Actively support and maintain health and safety program
Ensure HR systems maintain integrity and data accuracy

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development or other related discipline
SHRM Certification or PHR preferred
Qualification & Skills:
Five or more years of providing effective, proactive and responsive onsite management for a wide variety of HR activities such as employee relations, benefits and compensation administration, performance management and risk management
Proficiency and demonstrated expertise in leave law management and administration at all levels of complexity, strong knowledge of state and federal level laws and employment law
Ability to identify talent and match it to the needs and culture of the organization
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and outreach
Adapt with technology and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite, ADP or other HRIS systems, applicant tracking systems and social networking tools
Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
Maintains strict confidentiality and protects privacy of sensitive information.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; presentation and project management skills
