Job Description

• Provide quality checks on all production materials

• Communicate any quality issues with machine operators

• Check samples every 30 minutes and save materials for manager to review

• Strip loads when needed

• Provide general housekeeping of production area as required

• Shrink wrap or flat pack items for shipping

• Perform various other general tasks as required

• Must be able to adhere to company policy, safety rules and regulations, and wear PPE

• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Trouble shooting/problem solving skills

• Excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills to communicate and coordinate effectively with internal personnel.

• Ability to read, comprehend and write correspondence and effectively preset information in one-on-one and small group situations to fellow employees.

• Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and to deal with problems involving a few variables in standardized situations.

• Work in a manufacturing plant utilizing hand tools, safety knives, packaging equipment, pallet jacks and standard safety equipment.
