Responsibilities:

The National Account Manager will be responsible for meeting the set goals and objectives by supporting existing customers, cultivating new opportunities and meeting/exceeding sales quotas while ensuring customer satisfaction. The candidate must be strong with making good first impressions, as well as building relationships and enjoy finding and closing new opportunities.

  • Maintain and expand database of prospects and source new opportunities

  • Ability to drive year over year growth with existing and new business opportunities; exceeding organic market growth rate

  • Responsible for developing relationships with various levels of the organization, seeking out new business opportunities, and resolving production delays or quality issues to meet customer expectations.

  • Skilled at negotiating and maintaining multi-year contracts with major customers through various terms

  • Partners with internal support and operational teams to coordinate necessary items for customer orders

  • Investigate and communicate quality issues and customer complaints while leveraging teams to resolve opportunities with a sense of urgency

  • Become a customer representative, establishing unique position by differentiating our corporate value to the customer

  • Quickly identifies client needs and suggests appropriate products/solutions and close sales opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 10 years of related experience; flexible packaging experience required

  • Ability to communicate effectively with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients

  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills

  • Proactive and exercises sound judgment and decision making

  • Self-confident and self-motivated polished professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment

  • Comfortability prospecting and completing meetings virtually (phone and video)

  • Able to work independently without guidance

  • Comfortability using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams and Outlook
