Job Description:

Responsible for preventive and reactive maintenance to all equipment in the production facility and building.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited to the following:

  • Maintain current production equipment, working with operations and engineering

  • Mechanical / Electrical / Pneumatic troubleshooting

  • Equipment p.m.’s

  • Routine changeovers

  • Routine grounds maintenance

  • Participation in continuous improvement programs

Work Environment

Work primarily in a non-climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required.

  • Climbing Stairs, Bending, Twisting, Reaching, Pushing, Pulling and Squatting.

  • Walking or standing on concrete floors.

  • Lifting is minimal, occasionally up to 40 lbs.

  • Shift formats vary (8 hours, 12 hours, nights, days)


Required Experience :

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

  • Must be able to work “off . -shifts” and overtime as required

  • Requires basic mechanical skills

  • Requires basic knowledge of electrical control circuits

  • Able to troubleshoot PLC systems.

  • Communication skills with production personnel

  • Ability to read micrometers and calipers

  • Ability to perform numerical calculations

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Must have 1-2 years’ experience working in the capacity as a mechanic
