Job Description

Essential Duties and Tasks

  • Manage, coach, and develop employees to achieve established safety, team, and plant goals

  • Manage the performance of team members including:

Writing and delivering Employee Performance Evaluations

Administering Corrective Action Reports when warranted

Positive recognition

Develop employees and create a “High Performance Team Environment”

Ensure production employees are properly trained and comply with processes and procedures

Maintain a high standard of professional ethics when dealing with peers and subordinates

Ensure clear, effective communication is provided, verbally and/or written, to all team members

Ensure conformance to the Quality and Safety systems and procedures

Identify and control non-conforming materials/products

Suggest and or initiate corrective, or preventive action, to prevent non-conforming product

Other projects or duties as deemed necessary

May be required to perform other housekeeping and/or other manufacturing related functions as required by Management.

Requirements

  • Work independently and as part of a team, effectively communicate, good math and mechanical skills, get along with others, positive attitude and well organized. ​

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.

  • Self-confident, self-motivated individual who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment.

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. ​Climbing Stairs, Bending, Twisting, Reaching, Pushing, Pulling and Squatting. Walking or standing on concrete floors. Lifting is minimal, occasionally up to 55 lbs. Ability to operate heavy equipment/machinery safely. Shift formats vary (8 hours, 12 hours, nights, days)
