ProAmpac of Walden, NY manufactures retail paper bags. Currently we have immediate openings for Packing Inspectors! We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package including production bonuses and a sign on bonus!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Catch and count bags coming out of machine

  • Inspect quality of bags

  • Maintain a clean, neat and tidy work area (sweep)

  • Pack and label boxes

  • Fill out production ticket

  • Perform end of week clean up

Requirements

  • Must be able to read and understand written directions

  • Must be able to write legibly

  • Must be able to stand continuously for a (12) twelve-hour shift on a rotating four days work and 2 days off schedule

  • Morning shift: 5am-5pm, Night shift: 5pm-5am, Swing shift: 2 on days 5am-5pm and 2 on nights 5pm-5am

  • Must be able to adhere to company policy, safety rules and regulations, and wear PPE
