This is an exciting opportunity for a Finance Manager to join a fast-paced team, while working primarily remotely as they support the Westfield location. The role will be responsible for utilizing their accounting knowledge to prepare, analyze and review financial statements. Through the collaboration with others, they will provide input on costing, expenses, and capital investments on existing and developing products and customers. In addition, they will be responsible for:
Reviewing and analyzing inventory and margin reports, while also conducting research and analytical studies regarding cost or variance analyses and profitability
Managing month end close for the business unit. This includes completing analyses to support journal entries, reviewing financial statements for accuracy, and reviewing/posting of inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness of month end close
Developing and maintaining supporting scheduled and reconciliations of accounts during month end
Reviewing and explaining variances in budgets/forecasts on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
Working with divisions and corporate personnel to resolve issues, streamline processes, and recommend changes to improve efficiency
Monitoring and enhancing internal controls to ensure they are working effectively
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA is a plus
3 – 5 years of related experience, with cost accounting experience preferred
Interest in developing experience within the operations/manufacturing industry
Strong analytical ability to identify, define, and facilitate implementations of new processes, standardization and reporting
Exceptional time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal, written, presentations) with leadership, staff, and clients
Self-confident, self-motivated professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment
Comfortability collaborating and influencing within a team
