Role Overview

ProAmpac is currently seeking an Information Technology Intern for the Summer of 2023. The role will be responsible for providing end user support and maintenance of the computer desktop environment by resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Service Desk. They will assist with the administration and support of ProAmpac's PC's, Printers, mobile phones and related equipment.

  • Provide end-user support to prevent customer service delays for basic technical issues by assessing, troubleshooting and resolving incidents as reported in the ticketing system, interfacing with end-users as required

  • Elevate complex and/or high priority problems to the appropriate support groups for resolution

  • Effectively communicate with employees from your own and other departments to ensure a team environment

  • Run Anti-Virus scans on workstations and resolves any issues

  • Collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field

  • Experience in a customer service role

  • Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred

  • Ability to provide strong technical support over the phone & in-person

  • Proficient computer and/or technical skills

  • Trouble shooting/problem solving skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision

  • Needs to be living in, or willing to relocate to, Wrightstown (no relocation assistance provided)
