ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. Inventory Control Associate in Wrightstown, Wisconsin
Conducts and leads cycle counting and inventory control/management with the intent to reduce the number of physical inventories performed to one per year. This employee will work closely with the materials coordinator, warehouse manager, accounting department, S&OP and Operations management to ensure inventory accuracy.
Performs analysis and control activities as assigned. Reviews and researches jobs.

Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
Cycle counting inventory on a regular basis.
Leads and Coordinates physical inventory as needed.
Improve inventory accuracy (including the Rework Area and Quarantine Area in the warehouse).
Reduce and/or eliminate the number of work orders skipped or run short due to missing rolls.
Reduce and/or eliminate the number of sales orders shipped short due to missing rolls or pallets.
Review production with regard to material on and off, time on a job, and how much resin, adhesive and ink were used.
Research roll traceability and locations.
Review how much waste is generated by each work order.
Correct production data as needed in ERP system.
Help identify and re-label rolls with errors.
Re-label jobs (item number on rolls or the number of rolls on a pallet) when necessary; this would involve creating a work order and re-labeling.
Performs weekly and month end duties which includes comparing physical and system inventory and making required adjustments.
Conduct RCAs (root cause analysis) to determine cause of inventory issues. Maintain an action list and issue root cause analysis to proactively control inventory.
Will be responsible to take and maintain an accurate pallet inventory.
Remove items from the Quarantine Area that are deemed to be scrap and accountable for accurate inventory by ensuring scrapped materials are removed from inventory.
Fix pallets and rolls that are labeled incorrectly from production.
Repackage finish goods when Quality takes samples or damage found.
Scrap inventory unable to ship as designated by S&OP and ensure they are removed from inventory.
Assist in finding rolls and pallets not located by production personnel, supervisors, and shipping personnel.
Responsible for the consumables inventory in the Bag Warehouse and resin inventory in WRT.
All other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Associates Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
Six months to one-year related experience and/or training.
Equivalent combination of education and experience.
High School level mathematics.
Forklift and scissors lift certified.
