ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. Maintenance Technician in Wrightstown, Wisconsin
Maintains and repairs mechanical equipment including power transmission systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, piping systems, bearings, belts, pumps, brakes, cylinders, and web handling equipment; works with mechanical and/or electrical engineers to install and evaluate mechanical systems by performing the following duties.

Understand and apply knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, and machining.
Commitment, awareness and involvement pertaining to ISO (policy, standards, procedures, etc.) BRC and food safety practices (GMPs, procedures, etc.) are requirements of all employees.
Read technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
Document technical information through descriptive writing, sketches/diagrams, mathematical expression, computation, and graphs.
Perform mechanical and fluid measurements by properly selecting tools and test equipment.
Perform mechanical assembly, disassembly, repair, adjustment, or calibrate components by properly selecting tools and equipment and following procedures.
Understand the overall operation and control of machines.
Understand the basic fastening skills related to machine fabrication and assembly requirements.
Ability to fabricate and repair metal using MIG/TIG welder, shear, press brake, grinders, etc.
Proficient with rigging; able to set, align, and anchor production equipment.
Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing.
Operates metalworking machines, such as bench lathe, milling machine, punch press and drill press to fabricate housings, fittings, jigs and fixtures to verified dimensions.
Demonstrate persistence when dealing with complex problems.
Assess the condition of used parts using, micrometers, calipers, and specifications.
Source replacement parts and perform repairs.
Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists, and hand tools.
Able to maintain good attitude.
Assist with LOTO written program and training.
Assist with building and grounds maintenance when needed.
All other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
Product or industry specific machine experience.
Basic Mechanical Skills
High School Level Mathematics
Completed an Electromechanical Apprenticeship Program in a manufacturing environment.
10-year experience and/or training in a manufacturing facility; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Advanced skills (Journeyman level) required in one or more of the following areas: HVAC, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, plumbing, carpentry, piping systems and PLC programming.
