ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. Product Development Intern in Wrightstown, Wisconsin
ProAmpac, a global packaging manufacturer is looking for a Product Development Intern out of its Wrightstown, WI location. This position would be a temporary role for the Fall 2022 semester and the possibility of continuing into the Spring 2023 semester. It is anticipated workload for the position would be 15 -20 hours per week.
This temporary position is responsible for meeting the goals and objectives of the organization by providing support by managing, participating or assisting in designated projects, assisting in the administration of department functions and provide support as needed. They will have the opportunity to complete lab testing of trial products for industry-leading customers. Potential products include pet food bags, single-serve sweetener, and food packaging. The lab trial process will include, but is not limited to, following set protocols, evaluating variables, and completing analyses of testing.

Provide assistance with product trials completed on the production floor
Develop standardized packaging solutions for customer trial products
Complete Typical Data Sheet (TDS) file transfers to internal SharePoint site
Elevate complex and/or high priority problems for resolution
Read, understand and follow work instructions
Provide updates and metrics regarding project status and learning moments using a variety of media
Work independently and ability to collaborate with teammates to identify process improvements, gather information and provide feedback
Assist other department/team members as needed
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience
Currently pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university in Packaging Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field
Previous internship experiences preferred
Understanding of lab testing (protocols, process, evaluations, statistical analysis)
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams) and Outlook
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated and proactive professional that thrives in a fast-paced environment
Need to living, or willing to, relocate to Wisconsin (no relocation assistance provided)
Ability to follow documented policies and procedures.
Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments simultaneously
