We are hiring! We are looking for a Warehouse Lead at our off-site warehouse. This role serves as the main contact for our off-site warehouse and is responsible for the day-to-day shipping and receiving activities at that site. Hours are: Monday through Friday 7AM to 4PM.

Rate: $25 - $27 per hour (depending on experience).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate, work with or assist with the activities of team members.

  • Load and unload trucks utilizing fork trucks or other equipment.

  • Help receive in and ship out goods in a timely fashion.

  • Maintain accurate inventory counts at all times for internal inventory programs.

  • Comply with and administer all Safety, Operational and Employment policies, procedures and practices.

  • Understand equipment requirements and proper maintenance for effective and efficient operations; operate as needed.

  • Ensure team is following protocols pertaining to safety, quality, production, documentation, reports, good manufacturing practices, 5S compliance and cleaning procedures.

  • Assist as needed with machine center stocking at main plant, staging, organizing, inbound, outbound material processing, shipping, receiving and inventory.

  • Seek out opportunities to improve established manufacturing practices and anticipate inefficiencies and bring constructive solutions

  • Conduct regular checks and maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring all products are stored in the correct location. Following all procedures such as but not limited to Quality, GMP, ISO, Food Safety,

  • Communicate regularly with management provide updates on warehouse operations and address any issues that may arise.

  • Support an environment of Honesty, Candidness, Transparency, Teamwork, Accountability.

  • Support activities including analysis of departmental costs, investigation of significant variances, corrective actions and communication to teams of actions taken.

  • Train and mentor employees and work with minimum supervision.

  • Understand issues to assist in correcting issues.

  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education and Experience

  • Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

  • Solid 4 years of shipping and receiving experience or similar equipment/department/activities is required.

  • Fork Truck experience is required.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Basic knowledge of SAP is a plus!

  • Ability to collaborate, motivate, lead, and foster teamwork.

  • Ability to manage issues, problems, and experience enough to bring concerns to the next level as needed.

  • Maintains strict confidentiality and protects the privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with executive leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
