ProAmpac Holdings, Inc. Maintenance Mechanic in Norfolk, New York

Description

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Journeyman Class A Certified preferred

  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an industrial setting

  • Able to work M-F, 6:30am-3pm, overtime as required. This position does not require being on-call

  • Ability to follow all environmental and safety regulations and policies

  • Ability to work in a hot environment

Responsibilities:

  • Daily rounds to identify and prevent mechanical discrepancies

  • Troubleshoot, analyze, repair and record findings

  • Perform regular systematic lubrication of moving parts to reduce friction and prevent wear and tear

  • Assist in routine maintenance operations

Physical Demands:

  • Stand/Walk-7 hours

  • Drive/Sit- 1 hour

  • Push/Pull- 20-50lbs frequently

  • Lift/Carry- 20-50lbs frequently

  • Simple grasping both hands- frequently

  • Climb stairs/ladders- frequently

  • Reach- above shoulders frequently

  • Hourly Wage Scale for this position: $28.84-$32.96
