Hours: Monday - Friday 5am - 5pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select proper plate cylinders for job clean and prep the cylinders

• Prepping plates for mounting

• select proper mounting materials required for specific print jobs

• Set up print cylinders in mounting machine and set up plate layout on mounting machine

• Mount polymer plates on printing cylinders in correct registration and alignment to bag size

• Demounting and cleaning printing cylinders

• Maintain plate inventory for repeat jobs

• Safely work with cleaning chemicals

• Keep work area and aisles clean

• Work with the press operator to correct plate issues on press

Skills/Qualities Required:

• Lift heavy objects utilizing hoist safely

• Lift heavy objects 50 lbs.

• Must be very attentive to detail and exacting to specifications

• Must be able to read and understand written directions

• Must be able to write legibly and fill out production related materials

• Must be able to see colors and have good vision

• Working knowledge of basic hand tools and have mechanical aptitude

• Must be able to draw plate layouts

• Must be able to read measuring tools

• Must be able to adhere to company policy, safety rules and regulations, and wear PPE
